Hey all,

Or should we say thank you all? You made it possible that Dead cat will be produced and we will be forever grateful for that. Together we managed to fund Dead Cat in half the time we estimated and are now even beyond the original goal with more than two weeks to go. So again, thank you all!

The success of the campaign enabled us to aim even higher and we want to share the first 3 stretch goals with you. We are pumped to get you an even better version of Dead Cat. Feel free to share your wishes for additional stretch goals with us and we will check if they are feasible.

Besides these awesome news we also want to share the following great video about Dead Cat from Bearded Meeple with you:

So many people!
over 9 years ago – Sun, Oct 16, 2016 at 04:07:28 PM

Hey,

We are entering the third day of Spiel in Essen and it is called the world biggest boardgame fair for a reason as we now know. Thanks to all of you who came to try out the game. It was nice to meet the people who believed in us without even trying the game! Additional thanks to Abby and Nobby who left the lovely message below:

Hi there, we tried 'Dead Cat' today in Essen and we really love this game. It was so much fun. Luckily we backed for two copies because our friend (also scientist) couldn't get enough of 'Dead Cat'. But even if you aren't familiar with Schrödinger and quantum mechanics, this is a quick and easy to learn game that makes of fun and is always good for a surprise. Thank you very much. We will spread the word and cross our fingers that this amazing game will be funded soon.

But enough of words let's see some photos:

Preparing for the World largest Boardgame
over 9 years ago – Sun, Oct 09, 2016 at 07:34:49 AM

Hello and happy Saturday,

As you know from the previous updates we will go to this year’s Spiel in Essen, Germany. For those of you who do not know what the Spiel is about, here is a short explanation: It is the world's largest board game trading fare with over 162,000 visitors over four days.

Why are we going? We are going so we can meet you, and to get Dead Cat to as many people as possible. You might ask yourself why you should care if our community grows. The answer is simple: Firstly we need to reach our pledge goal to deliver our promise. Secondly we are planning a few stretch goals that will make your copy of Dead Cat even better (there is a possibility that we can include a fifth player).

Besides the excitement, it is also a lot of work to prepare for an international expo so instead of a long update, we have decided to focus on the preparation and share some photos with you.

All the best,

Elisa & Luca

100 backers and Roll For Crit Podcast
over 9 years ago – Tue, Oct 04, 2016 at 06:11:31 PM

Hey All,

Today we reached 100 backers and you are part of it. Your are helping us to found something new and we want to thank all of you.

Let’s get to the news then, shall we? First off Elisa is back from On Paper and she was able to spread the word about Dead Cat. All 200 Flyers are gone as well as nearly all post card printouts of the cat art.

That is her with her friend Marco. If you didn’t have the opportunity to drop by, you can still visit our booth in hall 7 during for this year’s Spiel in Essen. Don’t miss it: we will be giving out some promos!

Secondly we want to announce that we had our first TV appearance. OK, maybe it was on Youtube but isn’t Youtube the TV of the future? Jokes aside the guys from Roll For Crit mentioned us in their recent podcast.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed the update and don’t forget to share the Kickstarter with your friends.

Thanks,

Elisa & Luca
