Hey all,

What a first day! We made good progress on the campaign received and a ton of feedback. So let's dive into it right away:

Campaign Progress
We managed to fund over 10% of our pledge goal. This was driven by over 1400 people that visited our site. This traffic allowed us to raise from place 66 in the popularity ranking on Kickstarter to 31 for table top games. We hope that means a lot more traffic from Kickstarter itself but we will also keep pushing from our site.

Feedback
We got very good feedback from you for the campaign. People loved the artwork and the idea behind the game. One point that was mentioned though was a lack of clarity how the game plays. We heard you and added a section to explain in more detail what you are doing during a round of Dead Cat. Check it out and let us know if this clarifies the game mechanics.

Additionally we were asked if we could add a reward level for printouts of the artwork. The short answer is yes we can but we need to know if there is sufficient interest in it. If we are doing this we want to deliver a high quality product so we looked into handcrafted screen printing options. Screen Printing has high setup costs but the production itself is rather cheap. This means that if we can get enough people to choose this reward we can realize it and contribute to the success of the game.

To determine the interest I would ask you to post a short comment on the Kickstarter page to let us know if you would be.

What’s coming next?
Elisa is currently at On Paper in Norwich and promotes the game there so if you happen to be in the area feel free to drop by to chat in person about Dead Cat. For those of you who aren’t we will also be represented with a booth at Spiel in Essen in two weeks. Our booth will be stuffed with three tables to demo the game, so if you want to play Dead Cat before the official launch come by.

 Thanks, Elisa & Luca
